With Diwali just round the corner, BatchMaster India came up with the idea of celebrations. BatchMaster claims to treat its employees as its family members and the real sense of brotherhood and companionship came to the surface when the whole office crooned together, enjoyed together and celebrated together the spirit of the Diwali.
Festivals boost up the spirits and induce a sense of joy and vibrancy in any atmosphere. Diwali is one such occasion from which no employee can escape the feeling of raised spirit and pepped-up mood. The aura which hangs around is simply charismatic. The lighted departments give an enigmatic pleasure. The whole office looks as if drenched in the colorful lights.
The celebrations continued for a week. The first day of Diwali celebrations began with ‘Anand Mela’. The name itself is signifying the joy that employees must have experienced. Anand Mela contained a gamut of attractions such as delicious foods, one-minute games, photo studio, casino (yes, really), music and lots of other fun.
Day two was packed with Talent Hunt and Fancy Dress competition. It was the most awaited night. All the employees had a wonderful spooky time. Fancy dress functions actually proved to be an excellent way to get all colleagues together for an enjoyable time. There was a range of costumes that put a smile on everyone’s face. Talent Hunt also contributed a lot in making celebrations more striking. The partakers got the superb option to show their hidden talent. The Talent Hunt was decked up with events like acting, singing, dancing, drumming and other activities to showcase a unique form of talent.
The fun next day then continued with department decoration. This day really made a big difference in a work situation. The entire day was full of masti, hungama & dhammal. The whole office was flooded with beautiful ribbons, lamps, color powder, candles, balloons, pictures, music and variety of other decorative items.
After decorating the department came the day of decorating ourselves. It was the Traditional Day! Finally, the celebrations ended with the Laxmi Pooja followed by a lunch party. All employees chanted the prayers with full enthusiasm and clutched the blessings of Maa Laxmi. A few words from our Managing Director ensued and smiles were to be seen everywhere.
Diwali Celebrations illuminated every corner of the office and the scent of incense sticks hung in the air, mingled with the sounds of fire-crackers, joy, togetherness, and hope. It was a really good short break from hectic work where everyone just thought differently apart from their work & got recharged and rejuvenated.
